About Us

GardHouse is a Charlotte-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on creating a seamless pipeline to employment for Black and Brown College students. We offer semester-long paid internships within local businesses, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations where our students get connected to competitive opportunities across an academic year.

OUR IMPACT

  • 100% Upward Mobility

    Upon completing our internship program, graduating college seniors have either entered employment or continued education thanks to our Impact Programming. This ensures that BIPOC talent is able to advance both personally and professionally.

  • 180 Employer Partners Supported

    Since 2019, GardHouse has assisted small businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies by providing operational support through its internship program. Interns have provided over 3,500 hours of work-based assistance to date.
