Program Overview

GardHouse offers a work-based program that enhances technical skills that employers are looking for upon the student’s graduation. Throughout the 12-week paid internship, students of color will work with minority-owned businesses while being mentored by professionals of color. Upon completion of the program, students will then be placed in our talent network for business partners to recruit from.

We take great pride in developing students first, then career professionals second. GardHouse believes that great professionals are those who enter the workforce with a solid understanding of self; identifying that perfectionism isn’t an attainable concept and that students should learn to embrace their imperfections. Through this work, GardHouse is able to instill the much-needed skills that prepare students to dive deep into their work.
