To be considered for a role, you must provide a written proposal and resume under each project you’re seeking to be considered for.
What’s a proposal?
In the body of the email, write a brief 1-2 paragraph statement on why you should be considered to complete the project.
Who is eligible?
We are accepting pre-college freshmen to graduating college seniors that reside in Mecklenburg County.
What work will I be doing?
Work varies based upon business needs. Each business will provide details into what the project entails.
How long does it take to complete a project?
Projects can last from one day to two weeks. The length of time is dependent on business requirements.
How much can I make?
Up to $150 per project that is completed. Pay is based upon the length of time required, the level of difficulty, and education experience.
How will I get paid?
Upon completion of a project, each business has until each Wednesday to notify GardHouse. Students whose project has been completed on Wednesday will receive a payment, via PayPal, to their bank account that Friday. If a student’s project is completed after Wednesday, payment will be delivered the next Friday.
What if my project takes longer than expected time?
Though we do work on the backend to ensure students have adequate enough time to fulfill their tasks, we will address each situation separately in the event time is gone over.
