Mock Interviews

Join us in preparing our interns for success through GardHouse’s virtual Mock Interviews. This interactive experience gives students the opportunity to strengthen their interview skills through realistic, role-play sessions. Interns will provide their resume and a sample job description in advance. Volunteers will step into the role of a hiring manager, using provided interview questions to guide the conversation. After the interview, volunteers will offer constructive feedback in a private breakout session.

Time Commitment: 1 hour (virtual event)

This in-person volunteer opportunity is designed to support college students’ professional development. During this one-hour lunch session, the GardHouse team visits the partner’s office and brings printed resumes from our student interns. We begin with a brief overview of GardHouse’s mission and a group review of a sample resume to model effective feedback. Volunteers then review one student resume and provide constructive, written feedback. Volunteers may also opt to schedule a 1:1 follow-up Zoom session with the student to dive deeper. Nominate your workplace today!

Time Commitment: 1 hour (in person)
